will power, victory, assertion, determination
Reversed: Lack of
control and direction, aggression
The Chariot is a
card of emotional control; the power of the mind to shape the desires of the
heart and direct them to meaningful expression. The Chariot embodies the type
of discipline that is necessary to gain control over the emotions. This card
can also represent the need to balance, such as work / life are you putting too
much energy into one?
When The Chariot
shows up in a reading it tells us of a need to take control of our emotions
and, instead of wasting energy grieving or complaining, use that energy to take
action and to make changes in the world. Fear will cripple us unless; we can
acknowledge it and face it. Once we have transcended our fears we start
transcending our restrictions until nothing can hold us back from the success
we deserve, and once we have reached that stage, anything is possible!
